An at home newborn photo session is one of my favorite ways to document those first days as a family, especially when there’s a proud toddler sister involved. Photographing newborn photos at home allows everything to unfold naturally—snuggles on the couch, tiny fingers wrapped around mama’s hand, and big sister popping in with sweet curiosity. Toddlers bring a beautiful, honest energy to newborn photography, and I always let them lead the way. Whether she wants to hold her new baby, kiss tiny toes, or take a break to play, those in-between moments are where the magic lives and where the most meaningful newborn photos are made.
